I am sad to learn of David Mandeville's passing. I used to correspond with him regarding yearbooks. Several pictures on his site were sent to him by me. Is there any way to get a hold of those website files? I am willing to continue maintaining the website and updating it. It was such a great site with so much SG history. It's a shame that we've lost it. Please contact me if you can help me restore David's site. Thank you.

The "In Memory of" link is no longer working. That link sent you to David Mandeville's So Gate Page. David had a very nice and in-depth SGHS website. David passed away last year and a friend of his, Rudy, maintained that site for as long as he could. That site was closed down just last January. If you have a name and class year, I can look for that person. Rudy created a zip file of the entire contents of that site and made it available for anyone to download. Luckily I did that. That download link was up no more than a few days.

I lived in South Gate and went to Victoria Avenue Elementary. I left South Gate in '62 and graduated from high school in St. Joe, MO in 1970. I am looking for my 5th grade friend, Carol Zelke (or Zielke) who might have graduated from SGHS in 70. Are you out there, Carol? We were in Mrs. Maybe's 5th grade class. Gotta say that I retired from teaching computer classes, and this site is awesome!
